Kimberly joined our practice as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2001. She decided to advance her education and graduated with honors from Asheville-Buncombe Technical College in Asheville NC with an Associate in Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene. As a Registered Dental Hygienist Kim provides our patients with the care they deserve. Her warm, friendly and constant laughter helps to calm even the most anxious patiently. She is dedicated to her patients’ oral health and providing them with the knowledge they need to ensure optimum periodontal health. Kim is a native of sunny south Florida but relocated to the NC mountains in 1987. She is the mother of two grown sons … she enjoys good music .. seeing a new movie but mostly spending time at the beach with her family and friends.
Crystal entered into the dentistry field in 1995. Her administrative skills combined with years of office management are a contribution to our practice. She has been with Mountain Periodontics since 2016. She has been married to her High School sweetheart since 1981 and they have one daughter. Warmly greeting the patients and making them feel at ease is a priority to her. Crystal enjoys cooking, reading, decorating for the holidays and spending time with her family.
Lisa joined our practice in 2016 as a National Board Certified Dental Assistant. She graduated top in her class at Lanier Technical College in Gainesville, GA awarding her the Hinman Scholar Award. Lisa is also a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician as well which is an asset in our busy surgical practice. She is always eager to advance her education by attending CE courses and surfing the web. Patient Care is extremely important to her and our patients benefit from her calming presence. Lisa is married with three children and one grandson. She enjoys baking, spending time with her family and her church actives.
Jennifer is a licensed phlebotomist and Patient Care Technician. She has 5 years of dental and surgical experience. She has a passion for patient care and wants to make every patient experience an exceptional one. She is a proud mother of three beautiful children. Her daughter is currently attending the University of West Georgia as a nursing student, her oldest son is attending Georgia Southern in the fall and her youngest son will be entering high school this year. In her free time she loves to spend time with family and friends, cooking and being outdoors.
Farah joined our practice 2022. She has 20 years medical front office experience. As our Patient Care Coordinator she typically is the first point of contact when patients walk in the office. She assesses the patients needs and will contact the referring dentist if necessary for dental history information. She strides to make patients feel welcome and is always more than willing to help with all their needs. Farah and her husband of 18 years relocated from Florida to Blairsville 17 years ago. She enjoys the beach, fishing (although she doesn’t like seafood), the pool and most of all her fur babies. She is a great asset to the practice.
Bridget joined our practice in 2022. She immigrated to the USA in 2009 from Cape Town, South Africa, where she studied and obtained a paralegal diploma. She brings a wealth of administrative experience in both the medical as well as corporate business sectors. She aspires to make every patient feel welcomed, comfortable and informed. Bridget and her husband have a blended family with five children between them and enjoy a “full schedule”, playing music together and exploring the outdoors.
